Salary & Pay Band 5 (Based on Exp.) $20.00/hour
Description NOTE: Wage (P-14) employees are limited to working a maximum of
1500 hours in a 365-day period, calculated from the first day of employment.
Wage positions carry no benefits.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as Executive Director to the Board of
Trustees of the Family and Children's Trust Fund (FACT); administer and
distribute financial awards to local programs and state level advocacy
organizations for family violence prevention and treatment; provide
administrative support to FACT for meetings, public awareness campaigns, and
fund development efforts and coordinate with the FACT Board and other family
violence prevention agencies to develop and distribute information about
family violence prevention and treatment. This position is the only staff to
the Board of Trustees of the Family and Children's Trust Fund.
QUALIFICATIONS: Considerable skills in grant management and negotiating
contracts in accordance with state procurement regulations. Ability to
analyze and interpret federal and state laws, regulations, policy and
procedures. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in
writing. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage work
independently. Ability to perform administrative functions using automated
systems software. Demonstrated ability to communicate with people inside and
outside of the agency, and represent the agency to government and state and
local business officials, customers, the public and media.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university
with major courses in human services program management, business or public
administration is preferred.
SPECIAL NOTE: Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion
of a criminal history background. Statement of Economic Interest must be
