YWCA of Richmond and The James House in Hopewell announce the below
positions.

The YWCA of Richmond seeks part time counselors (approximately 4-10 hours
per week) to provide support to those experiencing domestic violence.
Counselors would see clients during one or more of the following time slots:

Mondays 10-2
Tuesdays 2- 7:30
Wednesdays 10-2
Thursday 3-7
Friday 10-2

Must have at least one full year of coursework in a Master's Degree Program
(e.g., counseling, psychology, social work) and experience working in the
domestic violence field. New Fall 2005 Master's Degree students will be
considered only if they have significant experience providing counseling
services to those experiencing domestic violence.

The YWCA also seeks part-time case managers to work at its two shelters
(approximately 4-10 hours per week). Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree
and case management experience. Dependable transportation is a must.

The James House Intervention/Prevention Services is a 501 ( c ) (3)
non-profit organization whose mission is to provide cost-free services to
victims and secondary of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking.

Currently we seek to hire for the position of African American Outreach and
Support Specialist in an effort serve persons who identify as underserved
African American. (Our position for Underserved Populations Outreach and
Support Specialist closed on the 15th of July.)

This is a 38 hour per week, part-time position without benefits, and
involves occasional nights and weekends, although we generally enjoy a 4-day
work week. The position pays $15 per hour.
