Family and Intimate Partner Homicide Surveillance Coordinator

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner seeks a qualified professional for
a part-time position (maximum of 1500 hours per year) to provide
coordination and support for its Family and Intimate Partner Homicide
Surveillance Project. The Coordinator's position focuses on two tasks: (1)
collection, analysis and publication of information on all family and
intimate partner-related homicides in the Commonwealth; and (2) training and
technical assistance to Virginia's local or regional fatality review teams.
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in the following areas:
data collection and analysis; report writing; multi-agency collaboration;
training and technical support; project management; strong oral and written
communication skills; and the ability to work independently while managing
multiple tasks. Travel to district offices for purposes of data collection
is required. Prefer master's degree in public health or social science.
Computer literacy using Microsoft Office Programs is required; software
proficiency in SPSS or its equivalent is preferred. This job carries no
benefits and is located in Richmond City. A criminal background check is
required for the position.
