new web-based tools to help customers find and secure funding for
educational materials and programs. Accessible from the Current Funding
Opportunities page (http://www.channing-bete.com/fundinginformation/) of the
CBC Web site (look in the top right-hand corner for the links), the new
tools have been designed to support this already-popular funding-related
service:
* Templates: This section offers "fill-in-the-blank" style templates
(formatted as Microsoft Word documents) for Letters of Inquiry, Proposal
Cover Letters, and Proposals. Templates can be used "as is" or modified to
reflect the individual writing style of the person creating the document.
Sample templates are available for each of Channing Bete's Positive Youth
Development programs. Background information about the Channing Bete Company
is also provided in this section to assist those looking to fund the
purchase of core products.
* Resources: An extensive list of Web resources about grant writing,
government funding, and foundation and corporate grants.
* Glossary: A collection of Web sites offering definitions of key funding
terminology.
* Funding Tips & Techniques: Basic and advanced information to improve the
quality of any funding application package. New tips and techniques will be
added to this section periodically.
