Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice/LAWS, a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization, is seeking a full-time Case Manager to provide comprehensive
case management for shelter residents, ensuring their access to appropriate
community resources to promote self-sufficiency. Specific responsibilities
include the following: Approve shelter admissions and terminate
inappropriate clients; coordinate services within organization and in
community, such as Social Services, Mental Health, Housing, medical, etc;
coordinate and/or provide transportation for shelter residents; coordinate
childcare to facilitate appointments and court dates; provide accompaniment
to court and other appointments as necessary. Other responsibilities
include: Provide immediate crisis counseling and referrals to victims of
domestic violence and sexual assault; provide hotline and on-call coverage;
provide safety planning to Protective Order applicants at court; maintain
appropriate client files and statistics; enter VAdata information as
required; coordinate donations and supplies for shelter; attend training;
and other tasks as required. This position offers applicants an opportunity
