POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice/LAWS announces a staff opening for the position of Domestic Violence Community Coordinator for Loudoun County, Virginia.  This position is partially funded through the Office of Justice Programs, USDOJ, to coordinate the implementation of the Grants to Encourage Arrest Policy.  This is a grant-funded position for 24 months with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will have provided direct services to victims of domestic violence, will have an extensive knowledge of the issues facing victims of domestic violence, will have experience in organizing and facilitating task forces or other multi-agency initiatives, and will have provided training and community coordination involving issues of domestic violence. Education requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters Degree preferred.

The Coordinator will be an employee of Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice/LAWS. Agency employees have excellent benefits; salary range for this position is $41,000 to $44,000 annually.  Resumes may be  FAXED  (703771-7865) or e-mailed (laws@...) .
