Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault
Court Advocate & Outreach Coordinator
Description

Provides support and information to sexual assault survivors throughout the
court process. Educates and trains allied judicial personnel. Works
collaboratively with local hospital, law enforcement, Commonwealth's Attorney's
offices and other agencies to promote effective response to sexual violence.
Shares 24-hour on-call duties with other RCASA staff on a rotating basis.
Creates periodic written reports and provides program management.

Requirements

Knowledge of legal system, commitment to assisting crime victims, effective
public speaking.

Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.

Spanish speaker a plus, but not required.

Compensation

30+/- hours. Salary with some benefits.
