About Candace Heisler, J.D…..
Candace J. Heisler is a nationally recognized speaker who
has presented throughout the United States on the prosecution of elder abuse
and domestic violence. She
continues to train and consult for a variety of federal, state, and other
governmental entities and private organizations. Candace served for over 25 years as an assistant district
attorney for the City and County of San Francisco, heading the Domestic
Violence, Charging, Misdemeanor, and Preliminary Hearing Units. She provides
statewide training for California victim advocates on elder abuse and domestic
violence and for probation officers on elder abuse.

Conference Registration
The early registration fee for this
conference is $65, which includes breakfast, lunch, breaks, and conference
materials. Parking at the Radisson
is free. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Deadline for
early registration is April 20, 2004. DCJS in-service credits and continuing

Hotel Information
The Historic Radisson Hotel is located at 301
West Franklin Street, in the heart of downtown Richmond. The Radisson has
reserved a limited number of rooms at the special university/conference rate of
$75 for single or double occupancy.
