For Immediate Release:
Thursday, February 19th is the performance of "Crimes Against
Nature", the hilarious and thought-provoking performance piece
written and directed by Chris Kilmartin. Dr. Kilmartin, who is
both an authority on masculine psychology and an accomplished
stand-up comedian, will donate all event proceeds to Rappahannock
Council Against Sexual Assault (RCASA), a nonprofit agency
providing prevention and recovery services to survivors of sexual
assault and their loved ones in Fredericksburg, Caroline, King
George, Spotsylvania and Stafford. General admission tickets to
this last chance performance are $10.00 (students are $3) and can
be purchased through RCASA by calling (540) 371-1666. The
performance will take place at Dodd Auditorium on the campus of
Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA.

In "Crimes Against Nature", Chris Kilmartin puts himself under the
microscope to poke fun at the ways men respond to sex ed, sports,
puberty, porn, girlfriends and more. At the same time, the piece
acknowledges the unique pressures men face and offers insight into
how masculinity is taught in our culture. Please note that the
piece does contain some adult language and sexual situations and
may not be appropriate for all audiences.

"Crimes Against Nature" was originally created in collaboration
with director, Gregg Stull with support from the Jepson Funds for
Excellence.

For further information,

contact Chris Kilmartin at (540) 654-1562 or ckilmart@...
