YWCA of Richmond and the Chesterfield County Domestic Violence Task Force
will be contracting out for a DELTA Project Coordinator for our
participation in the Virginians Against Domestic Violence (VADV) Centers
for Disease Control (CDC) Prevention Enhancement and Leadership Through
Alliances (DELTA) Project.

Project Coordinator:


· Serve as a liaison between VADV and Chesterfield Domestic Violence
Task Force (CCDVTF) and the YWCA
· Serve as a point of contact for task force members and community
partners re: DELTA project.
· Plan and coordinate DELTA project presentations to CCDVTF business
meetings
· Prepare semi-annual and annual financial and project reports and
distribute to CCDVTF, YWCA & VADV
· Coordinate participation at quarterly meetings including travel,
accommodations, (if needed) meals, and support equipment.
· Develop and coordinate the provision of two 2 hour on site
trainings for CCDVTF and local prevention partners - one on Primary
Prevention of Intimate Partner Violence and one on Planning Prevention
Enhancements.
· Facilitate the use of Prevention Enhancements Document created by
DELTA partners to develop and implement the DELTA project locally.
· Facilitate the CCDVTF participation process in long-range planning
to select and
implement nationally developed DELTA prevention enhancements at
the local
level.

The contract period will be from September 2003 August 2004. YWCA can
contract with an individual for approximately 8 to 10 hours/week at
$15/hour.
