The Third Wave Foundation's goal is to harness the energy of young women by sharing information and resources between young women, together creating a community in which members can take action around issues that affect us all.
The Foundation supports organizations that benefit and are led by women between the ages of 15 and 30, with an emphasis on low-income women, differently-abled women, women of color, and lesbian and bisexual women.

Summary: The Progressive Technology Project (PTP) seeks to raise the scope and scale of technology resources available to grassroots community organizing groups working for environmental, economic, and social justice. PTP provides training, technical assistance, and grants to develop the capacity of grassroots organizing groups through the use of information technology.
Funding: The PTP Organizing Technology Grants Program awards ten to fifteen grants of up to $10,000 each to support the use of technology by grassroots organizing groups to advance specific aspects of their community-organizing efforts. Funds can be used for training, technical support, consulting, needs assessment, planning, hardware and software, application design, and system setup.
Eligibility: Applicants must be nonprofit, community-based organizations with 501(c)(3) status or be sponsored by such an organization. PTP accepts proposals only from organizations focused on and based in the United States.

Mary Byron Foundation - Celebrating Solutions Awards
