Community Outreach Specialist
A non-profit organization focusing on assisting victims of domestic violence
and sexual assault has an opening in July 2003 for a newly created Community
Outreach Specialist. This position is responsible for the oversight of the
community based staff, facilitates weekly support groups, provides
individual counseling, case management, community educational presentations,
and follow-up services to clients.
The successful candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in human services
with emphasis on counseling or degree in counseling. Knowledge of domestic
violence, sexual assault, and homeless issues. Excellent written and oral
skills.
