Hi Dana
My MRI,s 4 now, all good the last one i took to my Neuro he said good .But what ive heard wether it,s true or not in PLS Primary Lateral Sclerosis all test do come back normal .It is a disease of exclusion meaning you exclude all others ,meaning they dont have a clue, Suppose to be a Variant of ALS Luo Gehrigs Disease supposedly they watch you for 5 years and if it doesnt turn into ALS then its PLS .I have Dysarthria (slurred speech ) and the right leg is spastic meaning stiff uncoordinated .If i get down on my knees i have to use my left leg to get me back up .One Doc. had me scared so bad that every time i would get a new symptom i thaught i was going to die soon (ALS ) You put your faith in them to tell you something intelligent .I do good in the Fla. Sun, we moved here from Illinois .So until we get a gloomy day i do fine .They just look at me and say nothing
.I did some research and found my Grand father had 7-8 strokes before he died im wandering if i should now go to a stroke specialist but i would think after 30 Docs. someone would have caught this, so far no more test to do .just sit back and wait .Our town made the News Ruskin another Pedifile at it .Choppers been fliing over all day for the last week .looking for that poor girl

GEOHI Dana, glad to see you back. I can relate to all you are saying. been there even with the dualing diagnoses. As far as the EMG for MS i don;t think that test really will show for Ms it;s mostly looking for muscle damage. I went thru the testing for stiffman syndrome early on also... mine didn;t show that. keep me posted./ thanks for sharing.. hugs, cathyDear Dana,I am so very sorry you are having such a bad time of it. I can only sympathize with you, I can't empathize. (I hope I said that right). In other words I can only imagine how you feel. I wish there was something I could do for you. Please know I am here for you if you need to talk. I wish the doctors would try a little harder to get a dx so that people could get early treatment. I saw on a news page that they might have a blood test to dx MS. I will have to do some more research to see exactly what to say. Hang in there girl, (I know it's easier said then done).Love ya,DianeDana,
