Hi Dana.Thank you for your reply,and I apologize for my late
response.So glad to be part of this forum.Well,here goes as far as
symptoms go.For about 10 years,maybe even more,I've been
experiencing off and on extreme fatigue(bordering on exhaustion)
which is my main complaint.Going hand in hand with the
fatigue...blurred vision,slurred speech,muscle weakness in legs
(especially when taking long walks or climbing stairs),difficulty
walking on uneven pavement(if there's a crack in the sidewalk my
right toe will certainly find it),general clumsiness(bumping into
walls,dropping things,tripping but not falling),sometimes a light-
headed sensation(but not fainting).There are also some cognitive
problems as well,forgetfulness,lack of concentration,lack of
spontaneity with conversations(word searching),one on one
conversations are ok,but more than one person talking I lose track
of the conversations,flashing lights or sparks in peripheral vision
when in a darkened room.The list is by no means complete.I saw a
Neuro.about 5 yrs. ago but sent me away with a pat on the back(no
further tests ordered).Opthamologist said he couldn't be sure but
thought the light flashes might be a sign of retinal tearing(come
back if deterioration in vision increases).Two Urologists,one
suggested possible autonomic problems(but not being his specialty
was unwilling to hazard a guess).All the usual lab tests
(thyroid,anemia,diabetes,etc.)were negative.Sorry to be so long
