Hi Deb!
I'm so glad that you posted so sorry it's taken so long for a
reply. How are you feeling? Hope this message finds you feelin'
well.
There are some members in the group who have been diagnosed. But,
most are just like you, stuck in limboland.
How long have you had your symptoms? There had to have been
something significant to prompt the first doctor to diagnose you. I
am so sorry that you are going through this.
I have done a lot of reading on personal MS stories looking for
basic rules of thumb when it comes to the length of time for a
diagnosis. My only conclusion is that there are absolutely no rules
with MS!
Some people seem to be diagnosed suddenly...others take years and
years. I am going on 2.5 years since my symptoms started. My
neurologist has me in the "possible" multiple sclerosis
category...it's a very odd place!
I hope that you find your way back to the group soon and keep us
updated!
~Dana

Rebif, I wanted 2nd opinion. Now Drs are saying not ms even though
reflexes and all symptoms fit ms. Mri and lumbar neg., just totally
frustrated trying to find out what is wrong with me. Has anyone
here finally got a diagnosis for ms? How long did it take or was it
a diagnosis for something else?
