Soap swirling disaster

I'm officially drained from doing bad swirls!

I need help. First, do I mix up my batch and add scent at trace before color? What if my trace give me less than 2 minutes to pour?

Will my oxides mix into soap mix or do I need to mix color with some oil first??

Please help, I don't want to rip out all of my hair
