Connie and I are pleased to announce that Kim Johnson-Harding has accepted the Vice President position with the Guild.  We are happy to have her on board and hope to soon announce the Treasurer position.  Please join me in welcoming Kim.  We have an exciting new year ahead of us!

On another note:  There has been no response, or no interest, in the Soap & Goodies Swap?  For those of you who may not have received this message, here it is:

Hello UMSG members!  Connie and I would like to extend an invitation to a pre-holiday Soap & Goodies Swap, for members only.  The idea is to send your favorite bath or body product(s), which you make, for as many participants that we have in the swap.  Figure on about 4-8 ounces of product(s) per person.  Include a little note about yourself and why this is your favorite product(s). Send to me (Pat) by November 30^th.  (Shipping information will be provided later.)  In return, you will receive a fun package of items made by your fellow guild members and a little information about each one.  We will take sign ups until October 25th (extended).  The “goodie” boxes will be shipped out by December 4^th. 

 We’d love it if people were to participate.  This is a good way to get to know one another!
