Borders book store

Borders have recently opened a store on our local retail park near
Middlesbrough and have a Starbucks so I went to check out the GF food.
The sandwich had Terence Stamp bread with chicken and pesto. Bread was
very wet and soggy and the sandwich cost £3.45 and quite small but
filling. There was also chocolate and orange( I think) cake which I
also had just to let them know that it would be helpful for them to
keep stocking GF food. The Starbucks in the Metro Centre in
Gateshead don't keep anything now as they didn't sell more than a
certain number of items a week. Apparently they have to order
something like 14 items weekly and obviously don't want to lose their
profits. Have never found any GF sandwiches in our Boots but haven't
pursued it as every time I asked someone they always had to find
someone else when I hadn't much time. Liz

It's worth plugging away at them. The angle I used was that the chocolate orange slab was not wasted if coeliacs didn't buy it, because it tastes as good as...
