Hi All
Here a subject for discussion has any one else noticed lately tesco's
are saying things like rice cakes have wheat in them when I
questioned this they said it was because products containing wheat
are produced in the same factory . Isn't this a bit PC I mean does
this mean cause the hubby and kids are non cd I can't eat in my own
house as food containing wheat is cooked in the same kitchen!
give us a break it is hard enough checking for starch that in the
product let alone starch that was near by when it was made.
On the same subject my hubby proudly brought me some rice crackers
from ryvities "look he said new crackers you can eat they say suitable
for coeliacs " but when I checked the labels there was wheat in them
they said that they had removed the part that we can't eat!when
questioned
Is the world gone mad or is it just me?
hugs
Julie
