Description
|
UK-Coeliac is a replacement list for (and continuation of) Coeliac-UK which was originally started by Carole and Russell, to whom we are very grateful. Coeliac-UK will unfortunately be forced to close due administrative problems. Our welcome message and our aims however, remain the same......
"Coeliac-UK is an open, unmoderated, discussion list for those people in the United Kingdom interested in coeliac disease, and is not in competition with any other list. It has been designed to supply information which will help people just in the UK, unlike other international lists. Discussions could possibly include what food is gluten free, recipes, tips for eating when away from home, where to buy gluten free food (especially by mail order for the housebound) and generally a gathering place to share your thoughts, frustrations, joys and anything else you wish to share with your friends at Coeliac-UK.
Information obtained from this list might not be accurate or medically appropriate for everyone. The list is unmoderated and everyone is welcome.
Any information is always welcome and we hope this list will be friendly and welcoming and that we all gain from the information and friendship.
We need each other.
All in all the main purpose of this UK focused list is to meet other sufferers, share and gain information to enable members to lead more comfortable and healthy lives in a friendly way, so we all no longer feel we are alone, and that we have others to support us."
I can think of nothing to add :)
