Re: [TypeTwo] What to do???

Robin,
I have for the first time, just gotten the same news. Mine I Think though
was diagnosed from a urine test. My doctor and I are hoping my high protein
count in my urine was due to the fact that I also had a urinary tract
infection. She was surprised to see such a high protein count when no
problem existed 8 months ago. It is possible your protein count is off, so
don't push the panic button. I go back in a month to redo the urine test to
see if my numbers have come back where they should be. I needed to take a
course of antibiotics first.

YOU are doing everything you can and should be doing. I am in aw of your
wonderful sugar control numbers. It would seem hard to believe with such
good numbers that you could have developed a serious kidney problem so I am
hoping for the best for you.
I think given your concern, you should call the dr. and ask if she can give
you any more information on what the new tests are looking for or offer you
any more information to reduce your concern.

Best of Luck on this,

Carole in WI
