I work in cubical land and have never worried if anyone sees me
pricking and testing. When I worked at Exxon, they wanted the strips
to go into a biohazard container, but my current employeer does not
care. Unless you have a job like cashier or teller, I would not worry
about testing in public.

Almost forgot, I use a One Touch Ultra. It has good accuracy and only
uses a tiny bit of blood.
