You don't have to do induction. That is really the only part that most
endos balk at. However, that's only for 2 weeks to rid your body of all
the carb cravings. As long as you have healthy kidneys to start, there
is no real evidence that Atkins is hard on your kidneys. It is only
when they are already damaged that there is a problem.
