Hello, my mother has been admitted to a hospital icu in a diabetic
coma. I would appreciate any sites anyone can recommend that will
inform and educate me about her condition. The doctors have been
very nice and answer all my questions but I want to know more. It
seems she is in serious trouble and I think it may be more dangerous
than they want to let on. Her blood sugar on admission was 1500 and
has come down to fluctuate between 125-200. She has been heavily
sedated and on a ventilator for three days. She is barely
responsive from time to time. Thank you for any help you can give
me with my search.
