Hi - your wife's symptoms sound more like a thyroid problem than symptoms of
diabetes. Has she been tested?

Hi Evelyn,
My wife has Type II diabetes. Her symptoms are not typical. First, like
you say, she feels cold all the time even on the hotest of days. Second,
she has a devil of a time keeping weight on. If she is not careful,
she'll
lose 15 lbs in a month. Third, while she keeps track of her blood surgar,
her problem is with low blood surgar. While high blood surgar isn't good
for you, the results of high blood surgar are not immediate, they are long
term. With low blood surgar, the results are immediate. Her doctor told
her never go to bed with a blood surgar level below 100. At 40 her speech
becomes slurred and at 37 she becomes semi-conscious and below 35 she is
in
full diabetic chomatosis and needs to be in a hospital.
