My name is Amanda and im 26 years old. I have noticed my symptoms of tmau since I was 12 years old, but like a lot of people didnt know for sure. I just received an email today from Dr. Cashman at HBRI with a positive test for trimethylaminuria. To be honest its kind of a relief. You wonder what is wrong for so long and everyone I talked to (family and doctors) act like your crazy. At the same time of course im upset. This is the first time I have posted. I've been a member for about a year, and look forword to continue reading all of your posts. I love the positive attitude and am very thankful that a support group like this was created. Next step for me is to contact a dietitian, and try to figure out this low choline diet. Its very confusing.
