Well, it would appear that either it was because it is summertime annd
all that entails, or a fear of being trapped in a political flamefest
between me and lesser capable antagonists.
Well, summer is drawing to a close now, as the political season
begins.... so that takes care of one of the possibilities anyway....
If everyone can keep their political opinions at bay, there are all
sorts of fun and/or interesting things we can all talk about and share
and etc etc etc.....
Be forewarned though, I will make at the least a marginally
insufficient effort to control my urges to respond to messages of a
political nature, especially those based on a knowledge of nothing other
than wishful thinking, personal predjudice, arrogance, and just plain
stupidity.... I read "The National Review" and "The New Republic" and
"Reason", and "The Weekly Standard" and "Mother Jones" and "Liberty
Magazine" too.... And I read "The Economist" and "The Congressional
Quarterly" too.. And I rarely get any USA TV news coverage, I prefer to
get my news feeds from the closest sources possible, so I keep
"worldnews.com" and "reuters.com" open at all times... So while I might
disagree with what someone might "think" based on little more than
nothing save emotion, I happen to know WTF I am talking about.
I have four browsers full of bookmarks and counting my pages at
del.icio.us , close to several thousand items/pages bookmarked, and
more research/search tools attached to my hard drive than is reasonable.
So if you want to discuss things of the body politic, fine with me, I
really enjoy such things between able, intelligegent, articulate
people, but don't post it here, mail your political and religeous type
matters to thie individual you are crusading against, not the group.
If you're mad at me, don't post it here, mail it too me.
And don't you didn't already know...don't confuse Ann Coulters and
Rush Limbaughs continuos examples of confusing arrogance and volume and
quantity with intelligence and thought and quality, as anything worthy
of emulating
Well, I was gonna keep the diatribe to less than 10,000 words, so all
in all, a successful endeavor.
Have a great Sunday afternoon
