I hope this post finds you all in peace and happiness. I need to
address a few things, briefly,
there are two topics which create contraversy. 1. politics and 2.
religion.
Politics we will never agree upon. And although our political
leaders basically decide the fate of all disabled persons in the
united states and it's important that we practice our constitutional
rights for free speech, the end result is this will cause contraversy
within our group of survivors. Please direct your political opinions
to your state leaders or a political group.
Religion , another personal and strong topic, also will contribute to
extreme contraversy and cause there to be some contention within our
group. I'm sure the vast majority of us, from our life and death
experiences, all have a strong opinion about our religious views. And
though we welcome free speech and a comfortable place to be our
little 'home on the net' with people who understand our situations,
we can not tolerate any contention, our 'family' here is to valuable
to us.
In an effort to reduce this contraversy, beginning today, messages
will be checked prior to post and once approved, those will appear to
the group. Im sorry for this inconvienence,in the end, I hope this
will help to reduce those topics which make some people
uncomfortable. please try to understand, this is to be a warm,
friendly enviroment for those who
are surviving traumatic brain injuries. We should focus only on
supporting each other through our difficult times, comforting those
who are feeling the 'loss of self' and helping each other. please
lets keep the focus on support. no advertisements either, please.
