Your willingness and efforts are commendable. I have in the past been
at one time or another a registerered Democrat, Republican,
Libertarian, and currently independant. And a card carrying member of
both the NRA and the ACLU, Charlton Hestons and his followers reign
hastened my departure from the ranks of the NRA and ending any chance
of their ever seeing another dime nor letter on their behalf from me.
And I have been a long time reader of both the "Nation Review" and
"The New Republic".

So, thanks for the invite, but No. I am neither interested in
starting nor will I participate in a flame fest here or any where
else on such subject matters. If I was looking for such I would go
over to one of the many political sites, or you can get pretty much
the same and more entertainment at talk.origins.

This is not the place for such discussions and I personally would
appreciate keeping the board free of all political discussion that
does not center on what a great guy I am and just how wonderful the
world would be if everyone would simply just STFU and do as I say
regardless of the subject

There is no "our voice" and I never ever vote for, nor financially
support, nor give much thought to single issue advocacy candidates. I
don't care what the issue is. Balance is what I look for.... there
are/is more than one thing to consider as the nation faces a world
increasingly made hostile by idiots and morons who have been put into
power by other idiots and morons all screaming and yelling about
their single issues being the most important ever.

I will however be picking from amongst tha available candidates those
who most likely have an understanding and knowledge and sense of
history and reality in relation to a rapidly changing world.........
a world in which idiots from Texas and cowardly morons who persue
"other priorities" whilst expecting everyone else of lesser economic
"stature" to have no other priorities save ensuring their families
wealth and stature and his personal freedom from any civic
responsibiliy outside of enhancing his party time additude and future
financial position, and let's not forget with ensuring that long
standing family ties with corrupt totalitarian regimes take
precedance over the needs of the nations citizenry at large.

I don't vote for flat earth creationists, religeous fanatics of any
stripe, people who have zero understanding of scientific method,
im"moral"ists who believe that only they and theirs have the right to
decide what is right and proper for everybody else (the Ann Coulter
brigade... she just the latest in idiots on parade), and people who
have never read "The Letters of Thomas Jefferson", "The Twelve
Ceasars", and "The Annals of Imperial Rome" and maybe "The Elegant
Universe" and "Atlas Shrugged" and Mark Twains "Roughing It" too.

I have contributed on more than several occasions to candidates and
groups of every political affiliation, just never because of or due
to single issue advocacy.

I will however, just in case any of y'all are interested in running,
be voting against North Carolinas senator from Kansas.

My last political commentary, of this morning and on this board
anyway. Sorry to have offended some of y'all.... so it goes in a
democracy I reckon. Feel free to disagree, wrong as that will make
you, it is your right to after all......
