i really can imagine what your going through since i was hit by car on my bike in 83. it has been a really long road to deal and try to overcome this injury. you never really get over it, but if you want to talk to others that has been through the same, or even close to what your going through you need to go
1. tbi support group in your area
2. go to what are known as tbi camp where they have nothing but tbi survivors, and their caregivers, and volunteers.
you will have a great time meeting people and just having fun. if you need help in finding you brain injury ass in your area i'll help. all i need is to find out where you live. i live in nc

HI Annie,
Welcome.
I'm Kerin. I was hurt in Sept. 2003.
I hit my head on an iron piece of playground equipment.
I know what you mean about the people who say "I can imagine".
What I really hate is when they say, "I know what you mean, I forget things all the time too."

Subject: [Traumatic_Brain_Injury] Hi, I'm Annie
I had brain trauma due to a triple rollover in a Geo Metro almost 8
years ago (8/98). I am just looking for people who suffered like I
did and maybe some "coping strategies" for the left over side effects.
Also, just friends who know what I go thru and not that canned reply
of "I can imagine..."
