Just a thought, I was reading the other day about vaccinations and the swine flu and other fun stuff, Iowa State University researchers are working on putting flu vaccinations (specifically the swine flu vaccine at the moment) into corn plants (the seeds) so that when you consume a corn product (which is practically everything, cornmeal is used in a ton of products to keep it from sticking to the package) you will be vaccinated.  Run a google search on it there are several places you can read about it.  One article I read said that they are hoping to have it ready by 2012 or sooner.  I know I've doubled what I've planted this year in my garden and am getting an extension plot for my garden ready for next year.  I'm planting more herbs that I can use to help keep my family healthy as well as more berries because they get sprayed with more pesticides every year and yet they are so good for you you want to be able to eat as many as you can.  Most of what I plant is from heirloom seeds (not genetically modified, self propogating) and I hope to soon learn how to save my own seeds from year to year as a means of potecting my family from things like swine flu vaccines in my food.
