We've had several requests for more tips on using the
essential oils. I know you just received the
newsletter, but it's easiest for me to set a day of
the week for a tip. Wednesday's seem to work for me.
So... (assuming I stay on schedule) I'll be sending
out an oil tip each Wednesday.

Sweet Orange or Orange, Sweet by Butterfly Express is
on sale this month and it is a favorite here at the
Swann home. (We buy it in 8 oz bottles for our own
use!) Why is it a favorite? We use it for
everything! It goes in the laundry to keep not only
the clothes smelling sweet but to keep the washer free
from mold and that yucky washer smell. We also add it
to water in a spray bottle and spray the window
screens when we open them each night. It helps repell
the bugs. (Yes, it really works! We forgot one night
and had to clean the light fixtures the next day
because there were so many dead bugs in there!) I add
it to the dishwater when I wash dishes (it helps cuts
the grease and clean out the drain when I drain the
water), and if I've just cleaned out the fridge so I'm
throwing yucky tuperwares in the dishwasher (or if
someone's trying to catch a cold) I add a couple of
drops to the automatic dishwasher detergent. If I am
having an off day I'll spritz some of the orange water
I use on the window screens onto my hair. The smell
perks up my mood. I also like to add a couple of
drops to the bathwater when I soak, not only is the
smell relaxing, but it helps remove cellulite. I also
add it to my humidifier at night to clean the water
and the air. Finally, I add it to the small
humidifying fan we use at night to keep the mold out
of the wick filter. Oh, and when it's hot and I've
been outside, I'll add one drop to my drinking
water--it helps keep my whole body hydrated!

Orange, Sweet is our favorite oil of the week.
