Reiki is… a Japanese method of hands on healing. It is deeply relaxing and
energizing. It alleviates pain, soothes emotions, assists trauma, aligns and
detoxifies the body.
Who Benefits From the Shares: The shares introduce the public to a fun and
relaxing way to spend an evening and meet new friends. A large percentage of our
guests are recent immigrants who are looking for a warm community and people
with physical and emotional difficulties who need healing. Luckily many of our
attendees are also Reiki practitioners who assist us with the sessions. They
come to practice, to help others, build their confidence, and to meet new people
to trade with.
