Hi everyone,
Writing to you from Victoriaville, Que. where I`m working for six
weeks. I`m working at a camp and things are going so-so. The people
I`ve met are nice, including the other anglophones that I met on the
exchange, but as usual, I am finding it hard to talk to everyone. Of
course having to speak in French makes it harder, but I never know
what to say. I feel so awkward because I don`t know what to do. The
good thing is that I will have to do two activities a week with the
kids so that will give me more of a chance to interact with them. I
wish I could be loud and out-going! Does anyone have any advice or
anything? I was hoping that this exchange would give me a chance to
stop being as shy but it hasn`t worked so far!
Bye for now.
Andonia
