The Orchestral Strings Department of Long & McQuade is offering a free music event/clinic this Saturday, April 30th 2-4 p.m. at their store at 935 Bloor Street West (416) 588-7886 to register (not necessary but preferred) This is near Ossington subway station on the south side of Bloor.

 

The event is: "The Stolen Runes" with Helen Jacob (fiddle) & Daffydalian Cloch (host).

 

Royal Conservatory of Music violin teacher and performer Helen Jacob, along with actor Daffydalian Cloch present an afternoon of Celtic medleys, jigs, reels, hornpipes, airs and songs. An intimate performance and demonstration of this style of alternative music. With guest artist Greg James, playing octave mandolin.
