Here are some dance social events I have found helpful to gain more
practice/exposure in a healthy, safe environment.
Friday, April 22 Time: 7:30 – 10 p.m. The Dreaming 1443
Bathurst at St. Clair Ave. Side door entrance. Gary Diggins is a
certified Sound Therapist who teaches Sound as Therapy and Music as
Medicine, where participants will experience how vocal and
instrumental sounds can promote well-being. By Donation. For further

You can dance or play around the room, moving stretching, walking,
sitting, or just watching. Barefeet or comfortable shoes, loose
clothing. You don't have to interact with people if you do not
choose to. There are usually 30 to 50 people of all ages, men and
women at this event.
Thursday, May 12 Every second Thursday, next one will be June 9th.
Time: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. Sacred Circle Dancing. Unitarian Congregation
upstairs auditorium. Donations accepted. In Mississauga, at 84
South Service Road just East of Hwy 10 (Hurontario). Exit Hwy 10
South from QEW and take South Service Road East.
Simple moves are demonstrated. Similar to celtic folk dancing. All
ages. Men and women. People will be expected to hold hands in the
circle much of the time. Barefeet or comfortable shoes. There are
usually 8 - 25 people attending.
Saturday May 14 8:00 p.m. Every Second Saturday monthly except
August 4th. Brampton Sacred Circle Dance. Location: Yoga Studio, 57
