My Name is Jenn- I am 28 years old and will be having a total
Thyroidectomy in the next few weeks. I was told about three weeks ago
I could have Thyroid Cancer after a large mass was found on my
isthmus. This came two months after finding out my Dad had stage four
throat, larnxy and lung cancer. Through out the last three weeks I
have been to four different doctors including a Ear Nose and Throat
Specialist and a Endocrinologist. Making my total Doctor visits and
hospital visits to ten in the last two weeks. After several biopsies
and a Thyroid Scan I was told two days ago I would require a total
Thyroidectomy. I am extremely scared...but thyroid issues are not new
to me…I have been suffering from Hypothyroidism since I was seventeen
and also have Hashimoto's Thyroditis.

What is currency trading? How can you get rich and powerful from
currency trading? Who can do currency trading? Can you do currency
trading from any country of the world?

Until six years ago, when the United States Congress passed a law and
made it possible for the small investors and average citizen to
participate in this currency day trading, only large banks, financial
institutions, millionaires and billionaires were doing currency
trading.

Look for the Source of Debt

You may be way over your head with unpaid bills and
debt payments you just cant catch up with. It might be
just the right time to look for the source of all the
trouble. Its like looking for the source of bleeding
and stopping it there. For some people it may be that
credit card and the unplanned monthly purchases. For
many, credit cards are a necessity, but if its causing
you a lot of trouble, either forgo it altogether or
keep it under lock and key for awhile.

Did you know that nearly 11 million of us have a hypo-active thyroid?
And that Hypothyroidism is linked to obesity and high cholesterol?
Hypothyroidism, also called under-active thyroid, is a condition in
which the thyroid gland doesn't produce enough thyroid hormone for
optimal body function. This little gland has the job of regulating your
basal metabolism, or of converting heat (your calories) to energy.
To function at it's best, the thyroid gland requires iodine from sea
vegetables (like sea weeds) and some vegetables.Iodine is absolutely
essential for thyroid health. All sea vegetables are high in mineral
content, especially NORI.

The food value of Nori lies in its high protein content (25-35% of dry
weight), vitamins and mineral salts, especially iodine. Its vitamin C
content is about 1.5 times that of oranges and 75% of the protein and
carbohydrates are digestible by humans, which is very high for seaweeds.
The element of Nori which is one of the main ingredients which make
Tyhromine so special for thyroid health.

THYROMINE is an all-natural thyroid supplement that works with your
body's own systems to help the thyroid produce the right amount of
hormone for your every day needs.

I had my thyroid surgery in Jan of 2004. At the time the scar really
bothered me. However I saw a nurse practioner who had the same
surgery 2 years before, and I honestly could not see her scar! I
thought mine would never be as good as hers!
Well now it is 7-2007. My scar looks like a neck wrinkle where I had
one anyways... So no one notices it! They would never know!
Now I am much healthier. I guess while I had the cancer I really
looked awful! I can see it in pictures of myself!!
So once your mom gets this behind - the sooner the better..
She can get on with improving her health, and get well again.

I had papillary thyroid cancer in 1 of 2004. I had the I-131 after 1
time.
I have to travel to see an endrocronologist as no one close will take
Medicare. So I have been monitored by my PC Doctor.

Should I be making an apointment with the endrocronologist for any
retesting after all this time ?
Thanks, Nancy

FDA Should Reconsider Aspartame Cancer Risk, Say Experts

CSPI
Tuesday June 26, 2007

WASHINGTON—A new long-term animal test from an Italian cancer
institute raises serious safety questions about the artificial
sweetener aspartame, which is marketed generically as well as under
the NutraSweet and Equal brand names. A dozen toxicology and
epidemiology experts and the nonprofit Center for Science in the
Public Interest are calling on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
to immediately review the study, which found increases in lymphomas,
leukemias, and breast cancers in rats. If FDA concludes that aspartame
does cause cancer in animals, the agency is required by law to revoke
its approval for the controversial sweetener, which is used in Diet
Pepsi, Diet Coke, tabletop packets, and countless other foods.

The new study, conducted by the respected Ramazzini Foundation and
published in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives, found
statistically significant increases in lymphomas and leukemias in rats
that were fed as little as 20 milligrams of the sweetener per kilogram
of body weight—an amount that's in the ballpark of what some people
consume. The new study is superior to a similar one released in 2005
in that it began exposing the rats to aspartame before their birth.

"Because aspartame is so widely consumed, it is urgent that the FDA
evaluate whether aspartame still poses a `reasonable certainty of no
harm,' the standard used for gauging the safety of food additives,"
said CSPI executive director Michael F. Jacobson. "But consumers,
particularly parents, shouldn't wait for the FDA to act. People
shouldn't panic, but they should stop buying beverages and foods
containing aspartame."

The Acceptable Daily Intake of aspartame in the United States is 50 mg
per kg of body weight. The new study looked at doses less than that
(20 mg per kg) and greater (100 mg per kg). Though few people would
consume aspartame at the higher dose, the lower does is equivalent to
a 50-pound child drinking 2½ cans of diet soda per day, or a 150-pound
adult drinking about 7½ cans of diet soda per day. But aspartame also
enters the diet through sugar-free or reduced-sugar gums, candies,
yogurts, and hundreds of other products. Many aspartame-containing
products are likely to be consumed by kids, including sugar-free
Kool-Aid, Jell-O gelatin dessert and pudding mixes, and some Popsicles.

A 2006 National Cancer Institute study seemed to ease cancer fears
related to aspartame, but that study had major limitations, including
its reliance on imprecise food-frequency questionnaires, and it
included only subjects between the ages of 50 and 69 who first
consumed aspartame as adults. The effects of consuming aspartame from
infancy or childhood might be very different, says CSPI, as suggested
by the new animal study.

Among those who today called on FDA Commissioner Andrew von Eschenbach
to review the new aspartame study are former Occupational Safety and
Health Administration officials John Froines (now at UCLA) and Peter
F. Infante (now at George Washington University); James Huff, current
Associate Director for Chemical Carcinogenesis at the National
Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS); and Kamal M. Abdo,
a toxicologist formerly at the National Toxicology Program of the NIEHS.

As a result of the new study, for the first time CSPI downgraded
aspartame on its online Chemical Cuisine directory from a "use
caution" rating to "everyone should avoid." CSPI also urges everyone
to avoid the artificial sweeteners acesulfame potassium and saccharin.
It rates sucralose, also known by the brand name Splenda, as safe.

CSPI also called on the food industry to voluntarily switch to other
sugar substitutes.

"Switching to safer ingredients now could be a wise precautionary
action," Jacobson wrote to Cal Dooley, president of the Food Products
Association/Grocery Manufactures Association.

According to a 1996 report in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the FDA
rejected repeated proposals by NIEHS to test aspartame using more
modern methods than were originally used. David Rall, the former
director of NIEHS and its National Toxicology Program, said, "any
compound that is that widely used needs to be retested with modern
methods every once in a while." The State of California, too, has
urged new testing of aspartame. The FDA also rejected NIEHS's proposal
to test acesulfame potassium, which CSPI says was "abysmally tested"
by its manufacturer and showed signs of causing cancer in animals.

MSG and Aspartame help Cancers grow like wild fire according to Dr
Russell Blaylock, a board certified neurosurgeon, and author of
several books on Cancer, excito-toxins and health.

Not only is MSG and Aspartame incredibly dangerous in the development
of Cancers over a life time, but the FDA is allowing any food
processor who dilutes the MSG by 2% to call it anything they want.
What this means is that if the MSG they put in your TV dinner is only
98% pure there is a list of 30 different trade names that it can be
listed under - such as Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Hydrolyzed
Vegetable Oil, Natural or Artificial Flavoring.

How is a person who is going through the ravages of Cancer ever going
to win with a food labeling policy of HIDING and mislabeling what they
are putting in your food.

Read about how bad Aspartame and MSG are for yourself, and please copy
and pass this email on. If each person who reads this and benefits
from it could send it to 5 other people we can form a 'wake up chain'
benefiting millions of people around the world, and bringing real
pressure to bear to get the North American food industry to be forced
to clean itself up in its labeling practices. Its not trivial its
literally the difference between dying at age 50 with a metastized
cancer, or living to a elderly age of 70,80 and farther.

At : http://www.newstarget.com/020550.html we read
"Excitotoxins have been found to dramatically promote cancer growth
and metastasis. In fact, one aspartame researcher noticed that, when
cancer cells were exposed to aspartame, they became more mobile, and
you see the same effect with MSG. It also causes a cancer cell to
become more mobile, and that enhances metastasis, or spread. These
MSG-exposed cancer cells developed all of these pseudopodians and
started moving through tissues, which is one of the earlier
observations from cancer."

At : http://www.newstarget.com/rr-blaylock.html we read
"The food companies don't want you to know that these chemicals cause
obesity, infertility, migraines and cancer, among other health problems."

At : http://www.life-enthusiast.com/index/Articles/Blaylock we read
"In 1957 two ophthalmologists, Lucas and Newhouse decided to test MSG
on infant mice in an effort to study an eye disease known as
hereditary retinal dystrophy. When they examined the eye tissue of the
sacrificed animals they made a startling discovery. MSG had destroyed
all the nerve cells in the inner layers of the animals retina which
are the visual receptor cells of the eye."

At : http://aspartamekills.com/blalockpilot.htm we read
"Finally, a recent scientific study demonstrated that aspartame
exposure significantly increases the level of formaldehyde in all
tissue. Including brain and retina, and that this breakdown product of
aspartame is very toxic to proteins and DNA, leading to permanent
injury to these vital cellular components. Even more important, was
the finding that this highly toxic substance accumulates in these with
chronic exposure to aspartame. This could lead to significant injury
to the brain, retina and other organs long after the exposure. Also,
the effects appear to be dose related. That is, the more aspartame you
consume, the greater the damage. It should be appreciated that
formaldehyde is a powerful carcinogenic agent."

PLEASE SEND THIS TO 5 PEOPLE EACH, LETS FORM A WAKE UP CHAIN TODAY!

I discovered the medicinal benefits of eating Field Horsetail by
accident when I decided to eat some out off the side of the road, and
now that I have done some research into it - I would strongly
encourage those who are battling cancer to consider trying it.

Photos of it are here:
http://www.cwss-scm.ca/Weeds/images/Eq1-field-horsetail.JPG

For approximately 10-14 hours after eating 3 or 4 'tails' I have
noticed the following:
   - dramatic clarity of thought, good mood.
   - aches go away, the whole body feels good
   - generally very good feeling of well being and increased energy.

When I did some research onto the net about Field Horsetail (a weed) I
was shocked to read the following from

http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6T6R-4F29HSP-1&_user=1\
0&_coverDate=07%2F31%2F2005&_rdoc=1&_fmt=&_orig=search&_sort=d&view=c&_acct=C000\

------
Water extract and ethanol extract from top and body portions of field
horsetail (tsukushi) were prepared, and the antioxidative activity was
investigated using four different methods. The contents of total
phenolic components were richer in the ethanol extract fractions of
each portion than in the water extracts. On the other hand, protein
contents were much lower in ethanol extract fractions than in water
extract fractions. These fractions had remarkable antioxidative
activities, similar to that of 5 mM ascorbic acid. Water extracts of
both portions showed high superoxide anion radical-scavenging
activities. Hydroxyl radicals were effectively scavenged by ethanol
extracts. Field horsetail (tsukushi) is rich in vitamins C and E.
Moreover, it contains high levels of copper and zinc. These are
essential elements, for superoxide dismutase to act against active
oxygen species. Tsukushi is not only a health food, but is also useful
in preventing various degenerative diseases.
-------
When they say 'ethanol extract' that just means they made it into a
tincture, I just plucked some out of the ditch and ate it... Maybe you
might want to at least wash yours!!!

Do consider for a scientific paper to use terms such as 'superoxides'
it would have to be good.

NOW YOU KNOW SPREAD THE WORD AND TRY SOME IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME!

Please read some more about it here :

Another Excerpt:

Superoxide Dismutase has also been used to treat arthritis, prostate
problems, corneal ulcers, burn injuries, inflammatory diseases,
inflammatory bowel disease, and long-term damage from exposure to
smoke and radiation, and to prevent side effects of cancer drugs. In
its topical form, it may help to reduce facial wrinkles, scar tissue,
heal wounds and burns, lighten dark or hyperpigmentation, and protect
against harmful UV rays.

Hi, everybody,

Thanks for allowing me to join and nice to meet all of you!
I was going to write and introduce myself a bit until I came across
something a friend emailed me that I want to pass along--The FDA is
about to make nutritional supplements inaccessible and there are only
8 days left to take action to stop it.

Sincerely,
Adam H.

The FDA is about to promulgate* a rule whereby all natural
supplements and substances, including water in some cases, will
become regulated drugs which you will be able to obtain only by
prescription from an allopathic doctor
(an M. D.) Your right to treat yourself, take what you want when
you want,
to control your own body in this way will be violated.

This is quite an emergency. We need to call our Congresspersons
and Senators
quickly to stop this--and it absolutely has to be stopped. FDA
also has a comment period until May 29; the phone number is
1-800-216-7331.
The case docket number is 2006D-0480; it should be mentioned when
calling.
There is also a comment form at:

CUMENT_ID=1451&SUBTYP=CONTINUE&CID=&AGENCY=FDA

All individual choice and natural treatment options will be gone
if this rule goes into
effect. The supplement industry that millions depend on for
natural health options
will go out of business almost overnight.
The supplements available then will only be ones made by
pharmaceutical
companies, and will likely be of extremely poor quality.

Phone numbers for your Reps. and Senators and the President are below,
or you can get them at at www.house.gov , www.senate.gov , and
     www. whitehouse.gov

Even if the rule goes into effect, Congress can pass a law
overturning it at any time, so it's still very much worth
contacting your
     representatives in Washington.

     Call YOUR Congressman
     at 866 340-9281
     1-800-833-6354
     1-877-762-8762
     1-866-808-0065
     1-888-355-3588
     1-866-220-0044
     NOW!

     Call THE President
     at 202 456-1111

send a message from this web page:

Sample letter or email to Congress:

The FDA is about to promulgate* a rule whereby all natural

pharmaceutical companies, and will likely be of extremely poor quality.

Even if the rule goes into effect, Congress can pass a law
overturning it at any time. I ask that you introduce legislation
to stop the FDA from doing this, now or ever.

     Sincerely,
     (your name)

*Promulgation (of executive branch rules): an unconstitutional
process where Congress long ago illegally delegated its lawmaking
power to executive branch agencies, such as the FDA, which issue
regulations having the force of law.

The legislative power was granted to Congress in the Constitution,
not the Executive Branch, which the FDA is a part of. Congress should
make its OWN "comment" to the FDA!
