Hi, I was tested TPO antibody and thyroid hormones ,diagnosed with
hashimoto's and hypothyroidism, and had TG tested a month ago, found a
solitary nodule of size 0.7*0.4 cm measured by ultrasound, the left size
of goiter is 5.0*1.7*1.4 cm, the right side is 5.2*1.8*1.4 cm.
Yesterday I had another ultrasound, that said my nodule is about
0.5*0.5*0.6 cm, and the left size of the diffuse thyroid goiter was
slightly shrunk , the left is 4.3*1.4*0.9 cm, the right is 5.1*1.6*1.3
cm,(I think that is because I take T4 treatment now or because I had
ultrasound in different hospitals results could be different) and found
blood signs in the nodule.
TG 203.00 ng/ml (0.83-68)
Is it possible I am with Thyroid Carcinoma?
my PTH level is also high which was tested yesterday, but not tested for
TG this time. and I suspect that "nodule" is the tumor of parathyroid
and cause hyperparathyroidism POSSIBLY! However, it is very small, less
than 1cm size, what tests can I request besides ultrasound? I know even
the cold nodules can not confirm the disease. my Endo doctors are nuts!
iPTH 71.80 pg/ml (14-72)
