Well I have had all of the blood work done and the ultrasounds and now I am
having a thyroid scan done in two weeks. We have ruled everything out besides
cancer. Since my blood tests came back normal my doctor isn't sure that the scan
will tell them anything new but he wants to try it. After that I will FINALLY
get referred to an endocrinologist (I am seeing my primary physician now for
insurance purposes). I'll probably end up having a FNA done. It just seems like
it's taking forever to find anything out.
Thanks,
Jennifer

It al ldepends on what part you are talking about.
When they did my bloodwork to test for hyperthyroidism
it only took one day. My doctor rushed it. My
thyroid ultrasound really did not show anything at
all.
