HELLO LADIES,
I also have hashimotos, had my thyroid removed two years ago.Had a goiter
that was choking me to death. Mine is uncontrolable. I go to the doctor every
three months now verses every month. I do not go see an endo doctor. They want
to see you every six months or so and thats not cool with me. I have bloating
and tiredness so bad I dont get up out of the bed. I also have heart paputations
and chest pain also bad headaches and hair falling out plus bad eyesight caused
from this . I have other stuff too but thats not the point right now. You ladies
need to go see a medical doctor. I will stress this to the point that, oh well
I will tell you , my friend died a couple of months ago from a massive heart
attack. He was hyperthyroid. I have researched this to the point I feel very
educated on the subject.
Its all hormomal. the thyroid works with the pituitary gland. It controls every
organ in your body plus the hormons in your body. when thats off your whole body
is out of sink.
If you hurt in your chest ,,,,got to go to the doctor!!! Over a period of time
it wears on the heart whether you are hypo or hyper. It also mimicks
gallbladder,lung,pancreas,liver,
stomach and intestinal problems. this is no joke cause it happened to me. The
day I had my thyroid and goiter removed my ear nose and throat doctor told me
and my husband to please take your meds cause this will kill you.She told me she
was very honest with her patients and she justs cuts out the bullcrap. people
think thyroid is not serous but ladies it is. Im 46 and feel like Im 60 or 70
sometimes. But I go on. You think about this--- if the pituitary controls every
organ and hormonal changes, then that should get you thinking right? People dont
pass away with what they are diagnosed with , they pass away from what that
diagnoses caused. Like kidney , heart, weak lungs and such. I have to say this
scares me a litlle but I have very good doctors and trust them wholely.
If I have a problem I call my doctor.I think my life is worth it.
B-6 is good and b-12 The shots are better and as for the bloating,
constipation I take
Bentyl. Great stuff. Thats the pill they give to chronns patients. I wish you
ladies luck
and if you want to e-mail me please do I would love to talk to you
peacefrogsribbett@... You ladies have a great day.

Hi Laura,
I think I will see an Endocrinologist, I have not done that and I
keep hearing they really know there stuff. What is La six? Never
heard of it. My biggest heardel is just the lack of wanting to do
anything. Like depression in a way.
How do they diagnios Hashimotos?
Thanks for your encouragement and advice.

hashimotos disease I am having a hard time with my counts too. My
thyroid was removed since I was told it was the only way they would
be able to regulate my counts and all went well for about 5yrs but I
found I was getting bloated irritable tired and oh the hot flashes,
come to find out my counts were off again so we are now battling to
get them regulated. I had tried the generic pill for syn-thyroid but
it did not work at all. I now take the real deal synthriod which
makes a big difference, yes it is more expensive but worth every
penny.. I also take a b12 supplement with folic acid and that too
helps but you do need to talk to your doctor and see if it would be
appropriate for you. I also take la six to keep the bloating away..
be patient it takes time when things change or go wrong it takes time
for them to get back into normal.. Know that you are not alone with
this and there are more women out there who have

> I hope you start feeling better soon... Are you seeing an
endocrinologist?? they specialize in thyroid disorders among other
things.. You might want to explore this avenue if you have not
already... I hope this has given you some encouragment and thoughts.
