Do not know if I should be getting anymore tests or not??   Message List

I had papillary thyroid cancer in 1 of 2004. I had the I-131 after 1
time.
I have to travel to see an endrocronologist as no one close will take
Medicare. So I have been monitored by my PC Doctor.

Should I be making an apointment with the endrocronologist for any
retesting after all this time ?

Good question but I had radioactive iodine done last year and have not been told to do anyting other than the blood work for my hormone levels. Dawn ... Dance...

no as long as you keep all your visits with your other doctor they monitor your thyroid just like any other doctor ... Live each day as if it were your last."...
