I have been self medicating with tertroxin for some time now. My local
hospital refuses to test T3 so I have been unable to guage my blood
levels. My T4 has been down and my TSH when last tested was 0.2.

About ten days ago I started to have real anxiety attacks and
palpations, my eyes have become very puffy and I have been feeling
pressure around my eyes and my nose. I have severe headaches and
sleepless nights, a goitre which has been swollen and tender to the
touch. I have visited my doctor and told her that I was probably
overdosing on the tertroxin. She told me that I was probably
hyperthyroid but that it was unlikely I had done any real damage to
myself.

I have stopped my thyroid medication for now but my eyes in particular
are still worrying me as the puffiness and pressure has not gone away.
I suppose my real worry is that I am developing Graves disease. Is
this possible for someone who has been diagnosed with hashimoto's?
