I am Dawn and was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in
feb this year and we decided it was best I have
surgery to remove my thyroid. So my first surgery was
March 29th and they found I had 4 suspicious spots and
hashimoto syndrome. It turned out to be cancer and
they did another surgery to remove more of my thyroid
on Good Friday, which they got out. I recently had a
body scan and it showed that my thyroid was still hot
so I may need to go back into the hospital and have
the radioactive iodine to kill my thyroid.

I have days when I am tired and moody but other days I
am better. Today was a busy day so now I have had it
with my girls. I have 2 and they are 9 yrs old and 5
yrs old and I found it helps to know what my schedule
for the next day is so I can conserve energy for
those activities. We are getting to slow down for the
summer at least till September.
