it is connected ask your doctor for some BENTYL great stuff
calms your stomach down when you are hyperthyroid you have diarerea
and hypo your constapated so it all works together but get you some bentyl
i take it every day

I don't know if IBS is related to thyroid disease but I can tell you that I
have both. And the IBS has been getting worse. I switched from taking
just eltroxin about a year and a half ago to taking a combination of
eltroxin and cytomel. My IBS got worse. My mind improved - I'm nowhere
near as brainfogged. I have more pounds I can afford to shed so I'm not
upset yet. But I've had barium xrays etc and nothing has been found. My
bloodwork says I'm in the high end of normal, thyroid-wise. If I miss my
medication for even one day, my IBS disappears, so I think that is the
relationship with me.
