Hi Im cindy, Im a single mom, in Illinois, and have been living with
undiagnosed hypothyroidism for a while. All your posts here sound
all too familiar. I had half my thyroid removed last april due to a
leasion that could not be properly discected during a biopsy. They
couldnt get enough tissue through the needle. Anyway, I have all the
symptoms (and then some) of thyroid disfunction, but since my
bloodwork showes acceptable ranges of thyroid hormone, they wont
treat me. I recently fired my general practitioner, because he wont
refer me to an endocronologist. But I have found a world of
information on a site called curezone. I started going to a
chiropractor and she is helping me treat all my ailments through
supplements. I went on bovine raw thyroid, and immediately had
relief from all my muscle pain. wierd huh. Im still very tired, but
its only been 3 days.
I have suffered from chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia for 15 years.
I have a daughter whos about to turn 8 and my husband left me for
another woman also. He couldnt stand me being sick all the time.
Whatever happened to for sickness and health.?? Whatever, men are
wimps. I've been divorced 5 years, and am about to file for
bankrupsy because i am too sick all the time to work, and i havent
apparently been able to jump through the right hoops yet to get
disability. Its very frustrating.
Also, for everyone here, if you don't know about mvp (mitral valve
prolapse) you should look it up. Its a heart valve problem. A high
percentage of MPV sufferers also have thyroid disorders and vice
versa. MVP caused anxiety type attacks, heart palpitations and
gerd, acid reflux and lots of other symptoms. So if you have any of
this you may want to see a cardiac specialist. I thought i had it
but it turned out to be stess related anxiety attacks. : O
I am tired to will sign off for now. Cindy
