HI,
My name is Kim, I was wondering if anyone else out there
experiences stiffness in your backs? mainly in the top, half? Also
joint pain? I get joint pain in both my knees, due to both those
symptoms I know when my thyroid is running low. I also can not just
relax, I just am always tence my whole body, so I try and just really
relax and a few moments later my body is tense again.
My thyroid has been out of control for 7 months now, I am so sick of
feeling like crap. I had my thyroid removed about 8 years ago. Last
year during the summer I thought I was having symptoms of pre-
menopause, so I thought why go to the doctor? I didn't really want to
start taking hormone therapy just yet till I started having worse
symptoms, I was convinced it was
pre-menpause because I had most of the symptoms. Went and the Dr
told me that all those symptoms sounded like Hyperthyroid, I didn't
agree, but went and got blood test and it was hypothyroid, so she
told me wait and come back in a month and check it again, didn't
raise my dosage, I went back same thing only lower, she upped my meds
again,
waited another 6 weeks, went back still the same, so she finally sent
me to an Endrocronalgist I had to wait 6 weeks to get in to her, she
raised my Synthroid 50 more mgs and put me on Zolof, she said Zolof
would help regulate my thyroid,I take 250 mgs of sythroid, I go back
on May 6th that will have
been 10 weeks since I started the new dosage. I still feel like crap.
My brain does not work right, both my eyebrows have been falling out
weight gain, among many other symptoms and my joint pain is out of
control not. Not even Vicodin takes away the pain in my knees nor
muscle relaxers take away the stiffness in my back.
Now on top of all this I have to go have back surgery. I feel 20
years older then I am. Help
Thank you,
Kimberly Finch
