I had some initial success by getting my RMR (resting metabolism
rate) and cutting my calories accordingly. I lost about 20 pounds
over six months. However recently, cutting my calories only seems
to depress my metabolism further. I got a body fat scale and I'm
just trying to manage my body fat composition now.
It's hard to find nutritionists or even physicians that can give you
good advice for managing your weight with thyroiditis, but this
website has a lot of good resources:
