Sounds like they reduced your thyroid meds too far. Same thing
happened to me when mine went down - weight gain, swelling eyelids,
etc. I don't have insurance either. It's worth it though to pay
one good doctor a couple of times than one bad doctor over and over
again. You know? I went off the synthroid a few weeks ago (after
14 years!) and just started on straight t3 last week. Don't know
what's going to happen. :) Good luck to you.
