Hi,
I have spent the evening traversing the Thyroid Cancer Web Sites, as
it has been a while since I last looked at all the messages.
I was sorry to hear you are having trouble with your med levels,
specially your comments on how a doctor can get right up your nose.
It is as if they simply do NOT listen or even belive what you are
saying because it does not confirm to the text book version they have
just studied.
Anyways, I am hoping I don't offend you by offering to post some
rules on how to take and store our thyroid medication. Sometimes we
can miss the most basic rule, for instance I have just found out
today that if I miss a levoxyl I should take double or even triple
the dose depending on how may I have missed. I have been taking
levoxyl for 2 years now, and I always thought if I missed a tablet I
simply missed it. You can imagine how surprised I was to read I was
wrong.
Anyways, these rule are fairly long so I will post them in a seperate
message.
Take care
I truley hope your levels stabalise soon.
Kind regards
Deborah Ford
