My understanding from home office of TW in Texas is this: current
members can choose to remain web only, but to better meet the needs
of those coming in during Jan and beyond, the only available option
will be with workbook, audio will still be avaialbe.

Also, I forwared to Bill you situation Stacie, he should be emailing
you today.

The president's message in my Dec. Workbook indicated that they are changing the options the 1st of the year.  There will not be an internet only option.  Everyone will get workbooks and then you can add the tapes if you want.  Hope this helps.

unfortunetly, that is the one draw back to this change. The
closests I can get to email is that you can have it watch a forum
for replys and it will email you when someone does.

Go take a look at the new set up - it is up and going.

Hello Ladies,

I belonged to this email group months ago. Since then we had a fast move from TX to Alaska...compliments of the Air Force. I'm about ready to begin Thin Within online and even have a friend who lives nearby that is willing to do it with me. You ladies were a great source of encouragement last year for me. I was the pregnant/nursing Mom with the "failing to thrive baby". He is now 9 months old and thriving quite well.  I had lost down to within 10 lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight and then gained 17 pounds on the move........so it's time to quit playing around and get serious.

I'm wondering which options you have all tried online and how satisfied you've been with the services? Has anyone had trouble downloading the Bible Study?

Thanks,
DeEtta

Hello Group,  I haven't posted in a long time due to transitions and
work.  I'm posting today so that Prayer can be offered up for my
cousin, Linda, who is battling Breast Cancer for the second time.
The prognosis humanly doesn't look good, it has spread to her spine
and radiation therapy did not stop it from growing.  She is now on
Chemotherapy, and has lost all of her hair and is very very thin.  I
again say that the prognosis is not good as far as human prognosis,
but I know that God provides miracles and answers prayers
supernaturally!  My cousin has cut herself off from any contact
except for her immediate family.  I've sent her cards and e-mails,
but have received no response back.  I know that it probably takes
all of her strength to get up everyday, have her treatment and go to
work.  Please pray for Linda that she not loose her desire to live.
I've been told that she is preparing herself to die.  I know that
that is ok, if she definitely feels that is what God desires to
happen, but she has been out of fellowship with him for some time
although, she does believe in the power of Prayer.  Please pray that
if it definitely is her time to go home, that she is right with God
and doesn't blame him for what she is going through.  I've tried to
contact her and let her know that she doesn't have to go through this
illness alone and that God is with her and wants her to  rest in him,
but she has shut out all those who love her except immediate family.
Thanks dear friends for your prayers they are definitely
appreciated.  Love in Christ, Vanessa

Hi everyone, I added a recent photo of me. It's in Photos/Karol

another one put up there that's better. This was me holding the
camera back and trying not to cut off my head. LOL!

Please pray for the Lord's will concerning employment. I'm still
waiting on Him for a permamnent position.

Paulette,
I love the 'tone' of your message. I really work at
observing and correcting when something doesn't work,
like your donut that was followed by a sick feeling.
It really is progress to not go into a downward spiral
after eating something like that (the guilt - eat more
- think we're worthless - eat more ...). I really love
the idea that I am 'on program' anytime I am not
eating when not at 0. So even if I ate more than I
should at lunch, I can immediately be working this
program by not eating again until 0. Thanks for the
reminder about how to interpret these episodes when we
eat something we later wish we had not eaten. SueTori

Hello..Here it is officially..Christmas Season. Today My focus is on
what is important. Jesus. He has been trying to pry me away
from "myself"..and tickling my brain to get me to laugh a little and
enjoy what he has given me. And I start playing tug of war with him,
worrying about my weight, my looks, my kids, my.....I am so glad he
is stronger than me, cause I havn't won that childish game of "tug of
war" yet..Thank You LORD!
I saw an Oprah Winfrey show last week. Maybe you saw it. A girl
named Tangela decided to "get out of her box". LOL..she ran down the
street in her bikini. Now, if you didn't see it, she is definately a
tad overweight...but she was getting rid of her shame, and loving
herself as she is ..and counting her blessings. It really touched
me. When she reappeared on Oprahs show, and was getting applause, she
pointed up..I knew then she was giving God the glory. That girl is
on her way to being all God wants her to be. And I pray that simple
blessing for all of us here. God Bless YOU and enjoy the season.

Hi Sheri,
It is good to see you back. Do you remember me? Kathy in Sanford, Florida. Would
you remind me of where in Florida you moved to? I know you told me before.
You are so right about the fellowship and encouragement. The ladies here are
great.
Kathy

WOW...a lot of new names here.  Hello to all.  My name is Sheri, and
I used to be a regular on this sight.  It was a real blessing to me
then, and I know it will be now.

I had great success with the TW principles last spring, and lost 20
lbs.  Then, with a major move from OHIO to Florida, and the stresses
with children, etc...I stopped posting and fellowshipping with my
buddies here, and have gained the 20 back plus...: > (....Nancy and
Grace and Linda were such a support network for me, and I feel that
part of my "fall" was due to having next to no encouragement or
christian fellowship.  SO..if there is anything to be learned from
this for you all on this board...STAY WITH IT.  KEEP POSTING.  And
never ever give up.  Nothing makes the old stinkin devil happier than
when we start to slip backwards.

Well, today is a new day.  And I know very well how to do this.  What
I did before is just starting with smaller, way smaller portions.
And I grew from there..so remember me in your prayers.  God bless you
all.
Sheri.
PS..te he..for those who don't know me..mommacow isn't my name
because of a low self esteem..te he...I LOVE MOO COWS..and have an

issues to resolve (coverage for him at work, possibly not being
allowed by the military to leave the country - especially if we are
at war, and financial). I know that if this is God's will, then He
will make the path smooth.

God bless you
all.
Sheri.

It sounds like you are listening to what your body needs. Fruit in
the morning seems to be perfect for you at this time, so I would say
enjoy it.

There are times when I can have fruit, like if I know for sure that I
want to be hungry by lunch time, otherwise I do better with eggs or
with cereal. Its kind of an individual thing.

As long as you are hungry - enjoy!

I agree. I love a banana for breakfast. The banana is just enough until
lunch when I am so very hungry!! I really got a message about how food
affects me yesterday. I was hungry and one of the ladies that I work with
brought in donuts. I ate about 2/3 of one donut. It made me sick!! I know
now that I cannot eat donuts. They make me shaky and sick! Paulette

hI everyone,
just a question about eating. Being on holiday and having food mostly put
infront of me I found I was too full, too often! I have now been just having
fruit for breakfast and often until lunch time then hunger comes for more
varied type foods and I have breads and cooked meals. Some say just fruit to
